For these reason, we decided to have some ala carte dinner at somewhere homey and yet not too congested with dinners. A perfect place to enjoy this ambiance, would be Crocodile Rock, Kuantan.
THE PLACE
A place where they only cater for just enough numbers of customers and you have to make reservations during all these festive season 1-2 days. FYI: Walk-ins may sometime have no seats available. Also, seating weren't too near to each other, till you were rubbing knees with the man next table.
The overall design for this place is comfortable, the concept is somewhat like The Aparment at The Curve whereby home is the main theme for the whole interior. It's like as if you're eating at someone's house.
The only difference is that Crocodile Rock was built in a real ex-colonial house.
Honestly, I would recommend this place for family eating out or even chilling out with friends.
The Food
Bianco Pizza RM23.00
One of Crocodile Rock's specialty are their pizza. Their pizza are famous for it's thin and crusty base. There are many other pizza flavors like Marina, Pepperoni and Banana & Nuts (one of my favorite pizza). It's certain a must try and don't forget, the portion is for sharing. Crocodile also provide delivery to treat your hunger pangs at night or time where you're stuck up at your office for overtime.
Personal opinion: Bianco pizza would taste better if the salmon is thinly sliced and spread evenly all over the pizza instead of being placed sparsely.
Lamb Chop RM33.50
Deep Fried Cambert Cheese RM23.00
